Posted: Monday, November 03, 2008 by Travis Cody in

Welcome to another Manic Monday with Morgen. Don't forget to cruise by MM HQ at the Manic Monday blog. Today's theme is colorful.

This is part of the view outside my office window. I took this at the beginning of October.

Niiiiiice shot Trav. At least you have something nice to look at while sitting in the office. Cheers!!

  1. DrillerAA says:

    Nice photo.
I've got a pretty nice view as well out of my office. It does make some of the less pleasant days seem a little better.
I will be posting a fall foliage tour later this week.
    Have a great week sir.

  1. it is truly beautiful! you know something else that can be colorful trav? cake. yup, it can! ha ha

  1. Gorgeous colors, Travis! So many reds! Is it all gone now? :(

  1. Julie says:

Ooooh very pretty. No chance of a reflection huh? Your not a vampire now are you?

  1. Wow...look at all the beautiful trees!

  1. Akelamalu says:

What a nice view you have from the office Trav. The colour of the trees is just so vibrant!

  1. Dianne says:

great view!! and a great shot!!

my office is in the basement so my window is ground level

I can bits of sky but the above ground crappy pool blocks most of it

I put seed and squirrel food near the window so at least they come to put on a show :)

    Happy Monday Travis

  1. Lizza says:

What a beautiful view you have from your office, Trav. It looks so serene.

  1. It's a beautiful shot, Trav. It's just now beginning to turn beautiful here. I love autumn!!! Happy manic Monday. My Colorful Contribution.

  1. Gene Bach says:

That's not a bad view...I've sure seen worse!

  1. Bond says:

I remember when I had a window to look out of instead of the wall of a cubical....

    Nice colors out there

  1. Very nice. I miss the beautiful fall colors. We don't get much intense color change here.

  1. Linda says:

Ah, see, for all those who say there's no foliage on the West Coast you have proof positive that they are WRONG! It looks just great to me!

  1. Jamie says:

Simple. To the point. And very, very beautiful.

  1. Jeni says:

Loved the wide variety of colors in that picture, Trav. Great shot, really gorgeous scene.

  1. Very colorful. Very pretty. I'm envious of all that red. I think most of the fall color around me is yellow. Happy Manic Monday~

  1. Now that's a beautiful view.

  1. Alice says:

  1. Reba says:

Whoof!! That's woofenderful, Travis. I don't get to look out windows here cuz they're too high fur a dog to look out of. Bark!!

  1. Meribah says:

Gotta love those fall colours! :)

  1. Pauline says:

What lovely colours but I couldn't stand to be in an office even with a view !

ps. I've been gone a long time but I'm back.....

  1. Dana says:

How beautiful! How do you get any work done with a view like that?

  1. Travis says:

Matt: When my job gives me a headache, I just look out the window.

Drilleraa: The best part of my view is being able to watch the colors change. And the few times it snows, it looks like a postcard.

    Bee: CAKE!

Mary: It's not as vibrant, but there is still some nice red fading to orange.

Julie: You guessed my seekrit! LOL!

Lois: The are gorgeous. I'll have to take some other pictures because the yellows now are stunning.

Akelamalu: That's the word for it!

Dianne: I definitely like being up above the ground...not too far, just enough to get a good panorama of color.

Lizza: It can be, especially in the morning before anyone else is in the office.

CWM: I love watching the changes.

Gene: So have I and I'll take this one!

    Lana: Yeppers!

  1. Travis says:

V: I'm lucky that my cube has an open area so I can see out.

Charles: It definitely offsets the gray days we have.

Linda: Exactly! I tell people we get less rain that you do on the east coast but they don't believe me! They swear it's all dull and rainy. Not so!

    Jamie: One does one's best.

Jeni: I remembered my camera on a good day.

Haley: We get quite a variety of reds, yellows, and oranges.

    Anthony: Indeed.

Alice: I'm glad I got pictures of it this season. I missed it last year.

Reba: Lots of trees for dogs to run around.

    Meri: Absolutely!

    Pauline: Welcome back!

    Dana: It's a puzzlement!

  1. I am envious of your view....and all the colorful

  1. DrillerAA says:

Thank you for your kind words on my blog. Yes we are on different pages politically, but I believe we both simply want what is best for this country. We can always respect each others right to an opinion.

    Have a great week.
    Brooke's foxtrot was HAWT!!!

  1. jennifer says:

REALLY pretty view outside of your office window.

We traveled north this weekend and the further along we went, the prettier the leaves got. I was SO glad to see 'fall'.

The few trees beyond our privacy fence are still green. Coastal Alabama does NOT seem to have a nice Autumn.

    Have a great week Trav.

  1. Did y'all get extra sun in October as well? We did down here and this has been one of the most colorful and lovely falls I can remember.

Argh! I want to go on record as saying Len is a dickhead! I am done "dancing" around his attitude about Lance and Lacey. He needs to wake up and realize that HE'S A FRICKIN FOSSIL.

  1. TopChamp says:

The trees are stunning! With those bright red tips.

Our dancing show's going ok but I've not really had time to get into it this year.

  1. Marilyn says:

I wish we had more red in our fall foliage.

All I can see from my office window is... wait a minute, I don't even have an office window.

  1. tegdirb92 says:

what a beautiful view! So Fallish...

  1. Beautiful shot, Travis! I couldn't make my brain play with the word colorful... I was too busy and too distracted.

  1. lisa ryan says:

isn't fall gorgeous? we still have a few trees with beautiful color but we are losing them fast!
