The Queen's Meme

Mimi, Queen of Memes, has styled a new game for her subjects. This meme series is only a few weeks old and I've already fallen behind and been tossed into the skeery dungeon.
So I must catch up. I present my answers to Mimi's Meme #4.
WBLOG TV - Film at 11
The place where unbloggable news happens and sources are never a secret. You are the creator, producer, writer and news anchor of the WBLOG nightly news. It is your job to deliver the news in your own style from your own blog.
And oh, you get to make up the news! Here's your assignment:
1. The Weather Channel: Give me your personality forecast. Are you sunny, wet, windy, or cloudy? Why?
I'm mostly sunny with a smattering of white puffy clouds in a bright blue sky. Why not? Life is too short to be stormy.
2. The News Channel: What is the breaking news story of the day in your world?
Disaster was averted earlier this evening when Travis discovered there was a fresh CAKE in the fridge.
3. The Economic Channel: How are things on the economic front? And more importantly, do you have ideas to save the planet from financial ruin?
The Fed sent 87 armored cars to the Cody residence east of Seattle last month to pick up loads of pennies collected over the last 20 years. Officials expect to finish counting the pennies by the end of the year, but estimates suggest that enough have been collected to pay off the national debt.
And you thought pennies had no value! HA!
4. The Entertainment Channel: Give us the latest blog celebrity gossip. Dish it!
Breaking news from the Puget Sound area: Travis intends to launch a 24 hour Dancing channel! It's all kinds of dancing all the time!
5. The Sports Channel: Make up a sport, give your team a name and choose five players from the list of names on the Mr. Linky list. What are the rules of the game?
And now, here's Travis with a look at sports.
My Lakers are NBA Champs. My Dodgers are World Series Champs. Notre Dame is NCAA football champ. Duke is NCAA basketball champ. And my Raiders are Super Bowl champs.
All. The. Time.
6. The Comedy Channel: How will you make us laugh today? Tell us a blunny (that's blog + funny for all you non-blog speakers)
Shake a tail feather babies! It's Frostie the Dancing Bird!
Thanks to Anndi for sending me this video.
7. The Religious Channel: Make up a blog religion. Tell us why your blog church will save our souls.
And now, we present a parable.
And Travis sent forth His Judges unto humanity with a hot Latin beat. And Travis said to humanity, let there be Dancing. But the people were afraid because their footwork was clumsy and too full of heel leads. And so Travis took pity on humanity, and He sent His most favored Lords and Ladies of Choreography to the people, to instruct them in the ways of Samba rolls and sexy Mambo hip swivels.
And the people rejoiced to learn this wondrous thing called Dancing. And the Judges were pleased, and anointed humanity with Holy 10's. And Travis smiled on humanity, and blessed them and His Judges and His most favored Lords and Ladies of Choreography, and bade all join Him in rapture on the Hot Tamale train.
And when all were assembled in peace and joy, Travis Waltzed with them.
And the world was full of Dancing from that time unto the ending of days. And Travis looked upon the world. And it was good.
(Yes, I know I already used this in the first meme. But why would I make up another one when this one is perfect?)
We return you now to your regularly schedule programming.
8. (but who's counting?) The Soap Opera Channel: What is the name of your soap opera?
A Tail of Two Wolves
Loved it! I wanna learn how to get on the Hot Tamale Train!
