Take This Tune

Take This Tune is a new meme hosted by my pal Jamie at Duward Discussion. Jamie puts up a video prompt complete with lyrics to the song, and the task is to write something inspired by the title of the song or something in the lyrics.
This week's prompt is a song called Sunday Morning Coming Down, performed by Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson. Kristofferson wrote the song, and Cash won a CMA for song of the year in 1970 with his cover of it.
The only thing that really came to mind for me was inspired by the word Sunday.
Yesterday, the NFL pre-season kicked off with the annual Hall of Fame game from Canton Oh. The Tennessee Titans played the Buffalo Bills. The 2009 HOF class is...
Bob Hayes played wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys from 1965 to 1974. He played his final season in 1975 with the San Francisco 49ers. He died in 2002.
Randall McDaniel played offensive guard for the Minnesota Vikings from 1988 to 1989, and with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2000 to 2001.
Bruce Smith played defensive end for the Buffalo Bills from 1985 to 1999, and for the Washington Redskins from 2000 to 2003.
Derrick Thomas played linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs from 1989 to 1999. He died in 2000.
Rod Woodson played defensive back for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1987 to 1996, for the San Francisco 49ers in 1997, for the Baltimore Ravens from 1998 to 2001, and for the Oakland Raiders from 2002 to 2003.
Ralph Wilson is the original and only owner of the Buffalo Bills franchise. He is one of the founding owners of the AFL, which merged with the NFL in 1979.
I wish I could identify with you, but you know how I am with sports. My hubman is sure ready for the new season to start!
