You know it's Shark Week on Discovery Channel, right? Well, have you seen this?
Nope.
Don't even try to tell me.
I know better.
It is NOT safe to go in the water!

Goodnight LOVES shark week! Right now her favorite movie is Deep Blue Sea. I have no idea why - but kids get to have favs, too.

Oh it is safe...sheesh I swam in the ocean my whole life on Long Island..only got bit by a shark 5 times!

Of course, in the San Diego area, we were more worried about rays, but me no likey sharks. Ick.

I used to swim with sharks as a kid, albeit relatively harmless ones. Growing up on Long Island (NY) during the age of "Jaws," I'll never forget the sudden surge of shark fishers that came afterwards. It was a horrible waste, really...
Shark Week! Just when you thought it was safe to go into the water! Enjoy the sharks!
