I didn't get to as many Dona Nobis Pacem posts yesterday as I intended, but that's the cost of having to work all day.  I'm working all day today too, but then we get to the weekend.  I'm looking forward to cruising around and seeing all the wonderful Globes and reading all the wonderful words.

Click on the player for Set 41 and then scroll on down for the Peace Post.

As always, if you'd like to join us in the musical fun, the guidelines are basic and simple.

1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here.
2. Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. You may choose a particular theme to share with us, or post random tunes if that's your vibe for the day. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
2a. Don't feel restricted by the tracks listed on Playlist.com. And don't be discouraged if the Embed code won't work. You're welcome to use any type of media to share your Sets.
3. Be sure to sign Mr Linky so everyone can visit your Set.
4. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.

Go forth and enjoy music!

Off to work early again this morning but I just had to come by and leave a link as well as check out your choices for Set #41. I've now got a couple nice little tunes to run through my head while I'm juggling ambulances again today!

    Have a great weekend, Travis!

  1. I know what you mean, Travis - I barely scratched the surface of Blog Blast. But I'm off work today (yay, me!!) so I'll be NaNo-ing and Peace Globe trotting to my little heart's content.

Your Day-After-Blog-Blast set is perfect. Get Together has always been one of those songs from my childhood that made me long to understand the grown-up world better. And that feeling never goes away. I still get it when I listen to it now.

Also love Sing - Karen Carpenter, one of my favorite voices ever.

I always think of Sesame Street when I hear "Sing" and that makes me feel peaceful. Childhood was a simpler time. Karen Carpenter probably wouldn't like knowing that I think Big Bird sings her song better :)

Leaving your blog singing "Sing of good things, not bad. Sing of happy, not sad!" in my best Big Bird voice.

  1. I like Cool change pretty well.

Nice music choices today Trav. I didn't get to visit many Peace posts yesterday but I'll visit more today. :)

  1. I like this set a lot Travis. I got to many sites yesterday, but as I believe Mimi is finding it is now impossible to see them all...She found over 11,000 mentions on google and many on Facebook changed their profile pictures for the day - but they might be gone by now.

I kept with the BlogBlast For Peace theme on my set today
