Hey gang!  We've been off line for several days.  The wireless router crapped out and we're having some trouble getting it sorted out.  We bought a new router, but now it appears that the desktop we've been using for a LAN isn't going to work with the new router.

We can connect to the internet on our laptops, but we have to be connected to the router.

But at least I can get this Set up, even though it's a day late.

As always, if you'd like to join us in the musical fun, the guidelines are basic and simple.

1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here.
2. Go to Playlist.com to make your play list of five songs. You may choose a particular theme to share with us, or post random tunes if that's your vibe for the day. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
2a. Don't feel restricted by the tracks listed on Playlist.com. And don't be discouraged if the Embed code won't work. You're welcome to use any type of media to share your Sets.
3. Be sure to sign Mr Linky so everyone can visit your Set.
4. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.

Go forth and enjoy music!

  1. Yay! Mr. Linky! Your set! All is right with the world.

You're Making My Dreams Come True is my favorite this week, Travis.

  1. Travis, another fine set that you put together, thanks for sharing it. I have been having issues with my NetFear Router and or DSLbox as well.Man Hug.

  1. Julia: It sure was frustrating today. But at least it seems to be working.

Mike: It's still a little slow, so we still might have something wrong. I was getting annoyed because if we couldn't get it working, we'd miss the final recaps for DWTS, and that is NOT acceptable!

Oh I do so love Hall & Oates - great choices for this week!

Their album Abandoned Luncheonette came out when I was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi for my tech school training so anytime I hear a song from it, it takes me right back to Biloxi. I love how music does that!

  1. One of my favorite groups or I guess I should say duets.

    Great selection this week.

  1. Well, as you may expect, I'm not really a Hall and Oates kind of guy. About the only song I know by them is "manhunter?" I think that's by them anyway.

  1. Sorry about the computer troubles. Hope you've got it all squared away now.
