Cue that theme music...

It's encores and results!

For Halloween Night, our 6 remaining couples gave us some spooky themed individual performances and then teamed up for a team dance challenge.  Let's see what we liked.

Last night I wasn't sure about the score of 24 from the judges for the Cha Cha Cha from David and Kym.  After watching it back, I'll agree with that score.  I enjoyed the overall effect of the performance.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

I thought the Team Tango was better than the judges gave credit.  Forgive me for grabbing the clip with the ad at the beginning.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

The Paso Doble from Ricki and Derek was outstanding.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

I think I'll give dance of the night honors to Team Paso.  It wasn't the best team dance I've seen, but it was pretty dang good.  Sorry, I grabbed the clip with the ad at the beginning again.  Click here if the video doesn't play.

Yup...those will do nicely.

Here's a recap of our leader board after scores from both performances were combined.

53 Ricki and Derek
51 Rob and Cheryl
50 Hope and Maks
48 JR and Karina
47 David and Kym
44 Nancy and Tristan

So Justin Bieber is in the ballroom.  OK.

The judges select Team Paso for the encore performance.

First results...Rob and Cheryl are safe.

The AT&T Spotlight performance features a young woman who overcame a brain tumor at age 16 to resume her career as a ballet dancer.  Here name is Victoria Rose Viren.  She dances with Kyle Robinson to a live performance by Christina Perri.  That was wonderful.

Here's a treat...Derek dances Argentine Tango with Allison Holker.  Yes, that Allison Holker from So You Think You Can Dance, one of my all time favorite alums.  Yeowza.  That was brilliant.

More results...Ricki and Derek are safe.  JR and Karina are safe.

Bwahahahahahahaaa!!  T-Mobile has a new commercial about their 4G network.  You've probably seen it.  The tag line is "walking in a 4G wonderland".  Here's the funny part...I heard that as "walking in an orgy wonderland".  Ooops!  Bwahahahahahahaaa!

Justine Bieber returns to perform with Boys II Men, accompanied by Mark and Chelsie.  I have always enjoyed the way BIIM harmonize.

Final results...Hope and Maks are safe.  Nancy and Tristan are safe.

That means David and Kym are eliminated.

Oh that's a shame.  I thought Nancy or Hope should have gone.  I thought David was going to join Ricki, JR, and Rob in the Final Four.  But the fans came through for Nancy and Hope.  Good for the ladies!

We're down to 5 couples now and another step closer to someone dancing off with that Glittering Globe of Glory.

Later gang!

Thanks for the final results. I fell asleep just before it ended. I'm blaming my cracked ribs. I thought Nancy would be gone. Oh well. I agree with you on the JIIM harmony.

4G - orgy. I can see it, and you know what? I'll bet T-Mobile intended that. Those ad folks are devious. :P :)

So who is going home? Sorry, I lost you at "Justin Bieber is in the ballroom". Hahahahaha!

  1. Nancy really needs to go. I know the crime/scandal mongers are keeping her on, but enough already. There must be a trial somewhere.

    LOL @ Jamie. Amen sister!

  1. Disappointed in the results this week...but as I do not vote, I can't complain
