It's deja vu gang.

On 3 February 2008, I wrote my congrats to Eli Manning for leading the game winning drive to defeat New England in Super Bowl XLII and with it earn the MVP.

Well, the man has done it again.  Yesterday, Manning engineered another game winning drive and the Giants beat the Patriots to win Super Bowl XLVI.  Manning was named MVP again.

Congratulations to the New York Giants, 2012 Super Bowl Champions!

One of the best Superbowl games in recent history.

Not happy over here! Pats played so bad, that I must admit they deserved to loose.

  1. Driller: I think I would agree with that assessment even if NY hadn't won. I wouldn't have been as pleased with that outcome, but it still would have been a great game.

Ivanhoe: Sorry! I know how it feels when the team you want to win doesn't.

  1. Now he has one more ring than his older brother. Who would ever have believed it.

I didn't watch the game, but would have been happy with either team winning. The Mannings are such a nice family... One of Eli's uncles taught our kids...

    Congrats to Eli being MVP.

My boyfriend stayed up to watch it - said it was a great match. My friend's boyfriend in London also stayed up to watch it.

I watched Kelly Clarkson sing a bit of the national anthem then went to bed to read...

    Glad you enjoyed it!

  1. You know...2008 was my first Superbowl as a Bostonian and let me tell you, it stunk!! Not b/c I'm the kind of person who mourns the loss, but because everyone here talks about it and whines for YEARS when it happens. They JUST stopped talking about that the other day. And now it begins again...

    :)

It was a good game though-with the exception of those 3 key plays which lost us the game.

  1. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  1. I have to admit, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Peyton's little brother beat Tom. Again. :)
