Edit: Sorry I'm late! Forgot to hit publish last night!

Last night I had mac & cheese and Oreos for dinner.

What?

Of course they were Double Stuf.  I always go for the best.

Set 148 is brought to us by the year 1976.   I learned how to make Kraft Macaroni & Cheese for dinner for me and my sister in 1976.  Oreo Cookies, originally introduced in 1912, are 100 years old.

I didn't really need a reason to eat mac & cheese and Oreos and make my FoF Set with songs from 1976.  But if I did have to give you reasons, I think those are as good as any, yes?

OK.

Have a great weekend!

Still the One, written by Johanna Hall/John Hall, as released by Orleans

You are the Woman, written by Rick Roberts, as released by Firefall

Smoke from a Distant Fire, written by Ed Sanford/Johnny Townsend, as released by Sanford-Townsend Band

Fooled Around and Fell in Love, written by Elvin Bishop, as released by Elvin Bishop

  1. Gotta go with What A Lady What A Night - Nothing quite like turning a sexual outing into a hit song. Whoever she was, I hope she knows it's about her.

  1. LOL, Jamie!

1976 - I was deep into my Bay City Rollers lead singer Les McKeown crush that year.

My favorite from this week's set is the Elvin Bishop one.

"Still the One" was used in ABC's summer ad campaign for the fall season the summer our family transferred back to the States from Germany. I've loved it ever since.

    Mac and Cheese rocks.

I think that is a fine reason to choose 1976, Trav.

I am also enjoying listening. It stopped when I hit the 'comment' button, but i am heading back now to finish the five.
