Five on Friday Set 194: We Blog for Peace in exactly 30 days

That's right friends and neighbors.  On 4 November 2013, just 30 days from today, the 10th Blog Blast for Peace kicks off with bloggers from all around the world posting messages of peace and harmony under the phrase Dona Nobis Pacem.

Ten times gang.  Not a full decade.  In the early years we blogged for Peace twice annually.  But then Mimi had an epiphany.  The date for every Blog Blast should be 4 November...her Papa's birthday.

And so we blog for peace in 30 days for the 10th time in 7 years.

The last three years I have added quotes to the end of all my posts for the 30 days leading to Blog Blast Day.  Two years ago I counted down with 100 Reasons to Blog for Peace.  Last year I summarized the last 30 of my 100 Reasons along with my Quotes.

I think I'll do that again.

I like that we kick off the 30 day count down on a Friday.  Everything is better with music.  Certainly music and peace go together.

Music was my refuge.  I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.   Maya Angelou

Reason 30:  Because blogging for peace is one of the ways that I believe in and work for peace.

Wow, that close already? I was looking at my 100 reasons for Peace, that I posted in 2011, just last week and thinking I had loads of time still. Eek. :-0

I love this, Trav, but I'll pass on it this year. I'm editing a book and finding so many reasons not to work on that, because I hate it. ;) I will share and spread the word, but that's it for now. A low key blogblast for me this year.
