Peace in the bloggosphere

I read a lot of Peace posts Wednesday and saw a lot of Peace Globes. There was some creativity with paint and photoshop, and some really excellent writing. I tried to get to everyone who signed Mimi's Mr Linky. I left a comment just about everywhere I went, but sometimes something on the blog crashed my IE. I tried to go back and sometimes it worked out.

Why am I telling you this? Because Wednesday was such an enjoyable day for me. I had such a sense of community, and I wanted to share that in as many places as I could. And if something as silly as a technology glitch kept me from doing it, well I just wanted to let you know that too.

So to anyone who doesn't see The Wolf from Trav's Thoughts on your Peace post, it's either a tech thing or it's because I wasn't aware of your post.

Here are a few of the Peace Globes and peace posts that particularly touched me on Wednesday.

    If I wasn't sitting on my butt I'd be kicking it. I am so sad that I missed Peace Day this time. I had every intention of participating again as I did last time. Then life got away on me. World Peace is one topic that is very close to my heart.

    Making my normal blog visits on Wednesday, it was indeed a lot of community spirit feelings I got as I saw so many Peace Globes, read so many posts too pertaining to peace. It's such an important topic, I'd like to see it pushed even more if possible. "Let it begin with me" should really become our mantra. After all, it has to start somewhere, doesn't it?

    I missed Peace Day due to technical hitches and I'm very annoyed but in the spirit of the event I will not rant, just one question though, does anyone know why blogger occasionally insists on loading and loading and loading even after you tell it to 'display the insecure items' Is it having a nervous breakdown or is it just VERY insecure and in need of SERIOUS THERAPY! I'm not ranting honest I'm not.

    Travis - You have brought so many people together through your links and efforts and sincere postings. You totally rock!!!

    I am still sifting through as you can imagine and checking links and leads. It will take a while but I will get to everyone's post sooner or later! I just appreciate all the participation and enthusiasm.
    I want to really read them all and not just skim through.

    The video had me giggling too! It is hysterical and Anndi is right, that baby's happy face is a reason to blog for peace. We want him to grow up in a society full of joy and giggles.

    this was my first peace globe day...and it was indeed great.

    I laughed at the baby giggling too...more because I was speculating on the things he will be ripping up that will not make his daddy laugh....
